FAQ
How can we help?
Answers to the questions candidates ask most. Can’t find yours? Contact us — a real person reads every message.
Getting started
CampaignLogix is an all-in-one campaign management platform built for state and local races — school board, city council, justice of the peace, county offices, all the way up to statewide seats. It gives you the tools that used to be reserved for big-budget campaigns: your district’s registered voter list, a door-to-door canvassing app, donor and expense tracking, yard-sign logistics, event management, and email and text outreach — all in one place.
First-time and small-campaign candidates, their campaign managers, and their volunteers. If you’re running for a local or state office and don’t have a full-time consultant staff, CampaignLogix was built for you.
Yes. CampaignLogix is strictly nonpartisan. We serve candidates of every political party — and independents — equally. We don’t endorse candidates, and your campaign’s data is never shared with any other campaign.
Click Get Started and create your free account. You’ll enter your name and contact info, your residential address, and your election date. We’ll match your address to the races on your ballot — pick yours, and you’ll immediately see how many registered voters are in your district. All before you pay anything.
Use the race search to send us a request. Our team reviews missing-race requests within 2 business days, and we’ll email you a link to pick up your signup right where you left off once your race is added.
Creating your account takes a few minutes. After you activate, a guided setup gets your campaign fully off the ground — budget, strategy, and voter targeting — in under 30 minutes.
Your election date needs to be at least two weeks away when you sign up. The earlier you start, the more time you have to put your voter data to work.
Billing
One flat, one-time price covers your entire campaign — from the day you sign up through 30 days after election day. There’s no monthly subscription. The price is based on the number of registered voters in your race’s district, so a small local race pays far less than a statewide one.
During signup, right after we match your race — and before you pay anything. Your price is locked in when you purchase; later pricing changes never affect an existing campaign.
Whenever you’re ready to activate. Your free trial lets you create your account, match your race, and see your voter counts first. Payment unlocks the full platform.
Your account, your race match, real counts of the registered voters in your district, and a campaign outlook for your race — so you can see exactly what you’re getting before you buy. Full voter records, donor tools, and the rest of the platform unlock when you activate.
Two optional add-ons, each a one-time price alongside your base plan: Campaign Website — a public campaign site on your own subdomain, with donation and signup forms built in and content you control from your dashboard. Mobile Access — unlocks the mobile canvassing app for your volunteers: door-to-door walking lists (Walking Warriors) and personal-connection mapping (Who Do You Know?).
By credit or debit card, processed securely by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe — they never touch our servers.
Your access continues through 30 days after election day, so you have time to send thank-yous, close out your books, and export your data.
Your account can be canceled, and you’ll have 90 days to export your campaign’s data as CSV files before it is permanently deleted.
Voter data
Most of it comes directly from your state’s board of elections or voter registration department — official, public-record data. Where a state doesn’t publish directly, we use a licensed national voter-file provider that compiles the same official records. It’s the same class of data used by professional campaigns.
Every registered voter in your race’s district, with demographics, party registration where available, and voting participation history (which elections they voted in — never how anyone voted, which is secret ballot and not recorded anywhere).
Your voter file loads when your campaign starts and refreshes automatically every 30 days. Your campaign’s own notes, sentiment ratings, and tags are preserved across every refresh.
No. Everything your campaign adds — sentiment, ratings, notes, donor records, volunteer lists — belongs to your campaign alone and is isolated at the database level. Other campaigns see only the same public-record voter file everyone licenses.
No. Voter data is licensed for your campaign’s use only — it can’t be resold, exported for commercial use, or used for anything unrelated to your race. See our Terms & Conditions for details.
Mobile app
Two things: Walking Warriors gives your volunteers turn-by-turn door-to-door walking lists with a script and quick sentiment logging at each door, and Who Do You Know? lets supporters map their personal relationships to voters — because a neighbor’s introduction beats a cold knock every time.
Not yet. The app currently needs a cell or Wi-Fi connection, so volunteers should check coverage in their assigned turf before heading out. Offline support is on our roadmap.
iOS and Android.
Never. Volunteers see only the voters on their assigned walking lists (or their own neighborhood, for connection-mapping volunteers). Donations, expenses, and billing are visible only to you and your campaign manager — enforced by the system, not just hidden in the app.
Yes — the Mobile Access add-on unlocks the mobile app for your campaign’s volunteers. Without it, the dashboard still works fully; only the mobile canvassing surfaces are gated.
Yes, with a single login. Each campaign’s data stays completely separate.
Security & account
Every record is isolated per campaign with database-level access rules. Access is role-based — volunteers can’t reach donor or financial data even by going around the app. Accounts support two-factor authentication (recommended for candidates and managers), logins are throttled against guessing attacks, and sensitive actions are audit-logged.
You do. Your voter annotations, donors, events, and content belong to your campaign, and you can export your data as CSV at any time.
Yes. Invite them from your dashboard with role-scoped access: campaign managers get nearly everything except billing, canvassers get their walking lists, and connectors get relationship mapping only. You can remove anyone’s access at any time.
